GOOD AFTERNOON readers (:
Okaaay im going to start storytelling about my STC ! I had So much FUN ! Best Camp i ever attended seriously (: So i guess ths is going to be quite a long post . If you , yes you dont feel like reading , wht i suggest you do now is jst close ths tab (: Lets start with the first day .
Day 1 .
Woke up at 53o . Got changed and headed to school . Boarded the bus at around 63o ? I cannot remember . Reached Changi Jetty and headed to Pulau Ubin . Reached Pulau Ubin and started walking towards our Campsite . We stopped at Nordin Campsite while the Sec 2s went over to Bahru Campsite . So settled down . Ard 9 like tht all the activity start . So our first activity was Jetty Jump . Okaay as i was afraid of heights , i had doubts on whether i should jump or not . Lets say if i die , dont have insurance how ? hahah . okaay so at last i still jump . it was Greaaaaat ! Next activity we went for the Tunnel thingy . We had to go into ths small tunnel . tht was not quite fun but still okaay uh . 3rd activity we had to do fire starting . we were already late so the sir was like scolding us for not being punctual . Tht activity was quite useful though (: If i remember the sequence properly , next we had lunch . After lunch we continued with the rest of the activites . So next activity we went to the IRC . Basically tht was the High Rope Element . I really didnt want to go fr tht because i was really afraid of height . whn i was told to do i was like , "Shitshitshit ! " hahahah . But i mean i said to myself diedie i still have to try if not it would have been a wasted trip not to go fr tht . So i went . Whn i was walking up the stairs i was like , " Sir , i going up now know . You dont want to stop me uh ? " hahah . Here's the conversation with me and tht sir whn i was already at the top .
Me : Sir , can i not go ? later i die no insurance leh .
Sir : No you have to go . Theres the safety rope lah !
Me : yah laa yah laa .
* was prepared to go already . Sat on tht thing .
Me : Sir i dont want to go uh .
Sir : tsk !
Me : later i die how ? ):
Sir : NOOO LAAA ! NOW GO !
Me : WAIT SIR ! YOU DONT PUSH ME !
Sir : i never push you . okaay okaay . you put your left leg out first .
* put left leg out
Sir : now right leg .
* put right leg out , bring back left leg .
Sir : you dont bring back your left leg !
* Sir kick my left leg out
Me : SIR ! I SAY DONT PUSH ME ! ):
hahahahahah . Funny man he . And thn there is ths ladder for support uh . Thn i kept clinging on to tht ladder .
Sir : You better stop clinging on to tht ladder or i dont bring you in !
Me : TSK ! you purposely want me to die right ?
hahahah . So finish with the high rope element , i was like thank god ! Really scary . Whn i was down , my leg was wobbly . But im proud tht at least i did went on tht high rope element thingy . I actually faced my fear (: Okaay 5th activity was shelter making . I jst help with cutting of the twine . hahah . We had to make use of twines , dowel poles and ponchos . So yah our structure was not bad ! (: Good job Aninin ! (: After tht we had our last activity which is .. Let me think . i cannot remember uh . hahah . nehmind skip tht . So after all tht activity , we had our dinner + wash up time . Thn it was night activity . Our night activity was like they blindfold us and thn make us walk around like fools . hahah . But it was fun though . So here's the other conversation i had whn night activity . Theres 2 sirs . Lets name them Sir A and Sir B .
Sir A : Okaay everyone now sit at the bench according to your height . The tallest over at my left and the taller over at my right .
* So i sat at the most left . And thn he start asking our names and height . Whn it was my turn he said ,
Sir A : Whats Your Name ?
Me : Ain .
Sir B : Shhhhh ! He never ask you .
Sir A : You . Whats Your name ?
Me : okaay i answer to this sir .
* points to Sir A . Sir B was laughing . He purposely make me confuse
Sir A : Whats your height ?
Me : 167 i think .
Sir A : Why you think ?
Me : I not sure ?
Sir B : Then how to confirm ?
* i didnt knw wht else to say .
Me : Okaay i later check thn i fax to you .
* Sir B was laughing -.-
hahahha So thn there was the Ma'am kept on tickling me . Cannot take it seyy . Sensitip you knw ! Okaay so thn got ready our sleeping materials . We slept over at the canteen because it was jst a 2 day 1 night thingy so it'd be a waste of time if we were to pitch a tent . Slept and woke up at 545 .
Day 2 .
Had morning PT . Wah muscle aches . tsktsk ): Thn we had breakfast .
after tht we had our treasure hunt briefing thn it was treasure hunt . There was 6 checkpoints . My group first checkpoint was at the flag pole . Our instructor asked us questions and so on . The checkpoint tht is most .. how to say uh . Like can remember is the one at Nordin Beach . Where we had to lay down 2 poncho and everyone had to stand in the poncho and no legs were allowed to touch the ground . The task given was tht we had to turn over the poncho at the other side and have everyone still standing there . So i was the one who kept on touching people's sock to help turn over the pochos . ewww ! hahahha . But at tht point of time , i couldnt be bothered abt the socks . all i want to do was to make sure tht we succeed . (: Our group won the treasure hunt ! Slow and Steady wins the race (: So after treasure hunt we had the cheering competition . My group did not knw abt it until the very last minute . So we had to came up with the cheer . And suprisingly we did manage to came up with a cheer . All in all i think our group did really bond together and tht everyone was really ON ! Greaaat group . I love my grouping fr ths camp . After tht we had area cleaning . During area cleaning one of the sir called me with 3 other people so a total of 4 people . We had to go for dont knw wht interview . So whn it was my turn i went uh . Two sir again . Lets name him Sir C and Sir D .
Sir C : So youre Ain ?
Me : Yeah .
Sir C : okaay so do you knw why we called you here ?
Me : err no ?
Sir C : like seriously ?
Me : No ?
Sir C : okaay congratulations . You were nominated for the best female camper .
Me : err okaaay ?
Sir C : okaay so now we're going to ask you a few questions .
Me : okaay .
Sir C : Wht have you learnt in ths camp .
Me : Erm i did learn alot frm ths camp . The learning points i had was the fire starting and the shelter making . I mean its very useful if i were in tht kind of situation thn at least i would knw wht to do . Jst tht we didnt have a campfire . I mean whats a camp without a campfire right ? but because its a 2 day 1 night thingy , its understandable uh . So yah .
Sir C : okaay . So tell me if youre a CI , wht would you do to make your cadet listen to you ?
Me : erm , first i would start with a softer approach .
Sir D : Softer approach ?
Me : yah . Thn if it doesnt work , i'll try to be more firm . I mean it works both ways uh .
Sir C and D : ohh okaay .
Sir C : last question . Why do you think you were nominated ?
Me : because im noisy ? I dont knw .
Sir D : noisy ? In what way ?
Me : i mean like starting of the camp everyone was like so stiff so i had to break the ice and get things going .
Sir C : ohh initiative ? Okok . Thank you .
Thn whn it was prize presentation they say " now we're going to announce who's the best female camper . She's Ain from group 5 , aninin ! "
Thn i was shocked uh . i mean there was another girl who was nominated as well but she didnt get . Ohh speaking of which , this girl dont like me for no reason . She's From YI . So she didnt like me for i dont knw wht reason . I mean everyone also dont like her . She was one of the nominees . So whn i got the best female camper , her face changed . i mean wht do you want me to do right ? Tsk . Thn the teachers was like dont care about her laa . its okaay forget it . ^_^
all in all i love my group . I love ths camp . I love everyth about it ( except fr tht girl ) , I love the activites planned fr us . (: im glad at least i got to spend time out . Okaay im running out of words to say . I want to watch growing up now . takecare readers . Wow ! Longest post ever ! Tht shows how much fun i had . (:
